Credit Union of Colorado Foundation

The Credit Union of Colorado Foundation was founded in 2012 to build upon our long history of philanthropic commitment to our members and the communities where they reside. The Foundation’s mission is to support education and emergency human services through financial donations and volunteerism. During a typical year, the Foundation awards more than $225,000 in grants and scholarships to the people and communities we serve.

With branch locations spanning the front range from Pueblo to Ft Collins and Durango to the Western slope, the communities we serve are diverse. From youth sports teams to movie nights, concerts and county fairs, we aim to support each community in a way that’s beneficial to both our members and the community.

Employee Outreach Efforts

Every day, our team members live out our shared commitment to giving back and doing good. We are 375 team members strong and we understand our team members know the pulse of their communities best. That’s why we support giving back locally by granting our team members paid time off for personal volunteerism.

Here to Help Day

Our annual Here to Help (H2H) Day is a day set aside for our employees to engage in community service that directly benefits our members and surrounding communities. This service opportunity is made available to all our team members to do good by caring for and supporting a nonprofit partner organization in their community. In 2022,  nearly 192 of our team members volunteered at 22 partnered organizations for approximately 768 hours, and the credit union contributed $24,000 in cash and in-kind donations to support H2H Day.
